Wednesday September 12th

A solid day at Worcester yesterday.

‘Red Hot Chilly’ nearly got us another winner on the board. He travelled well and got upsides the winner at the last and just couldn’t get past. He only went down by half a length!!

‘Kiruna Peak’ then ran back in a maiden hurdle and came 5th. She has been running well in handicaps so we will run her back in her grade next time and hope she can get back on track.

‘Troubled Soul’ was our last runner in the 2m4 ‘hands and heels’ race so Connor rode her. The jockeys can carry their whips but they can’t be used. She travelled well and got into contention coming to the 3rd last and stayed on well to keep 3rd with a host of horses battling for it. We were pleased with her.

The lovely ‘Troubled Soul’ before the race.

And with Tori and Abbie in the winners enclosure.

We had a good work day this morning.

Nia rode ‘Caroll’s Milan’ who is very tough. She is working well.

Katie with ‘Master Dee’ who is working really well and will hopefully be ready by the end of the month.

We were joined by James, Leon and Rob who came to see the horses work. They are pictured here with ‘Jarveys Plate.

They were allowed in as they brought some amazing peanut butter and chocolate cookies with them!!!

We had a new yard hand on trial today and she got the job!!! Ha ha…. it’s actually ‘Perfect Candidates’ owner Donna who is always happy to help and brought sausage rolls!!!!! Thankyou Donna xx

No runners now until next week.

Thanks for reading.
