Wednesday October 11th

A cold and windy morning on the gallops but with so many riders today we only have 3 lots!!

The view from the top of our wonderful gallops.

We schooled some of the youngsters last night which went really well. It gives them a change of scenery and something new to think about.
Not a youngster but a new recruit to us. ‘Cheltenam De Vaige’ jumped well with Alain on board.

‘Ocean Cove’ flying the hurdle showing lots of scope. Ally on board.

‘Belle Amis’ showing superb technique with Alain on board.

Max on ‘A book of Intrigue’ also making a nice shape.

A great work morning this morning.

David this side on ‘Global Stage’ working with Jacob far side on ‘Wizards Sliabh’.

Richard Patrick this side on the un named 4 year old by ‘Beneficial’ working with Alice far side on ‘Blue Comet’.

‘The Groove’ ran a blinder yesterday and finished in the placings again so he adds another close finish to his career.
We were gutted to hear that Reg is retiring and yesterday was his last day running his beef roll stand at Leicester racecourse. From all of us at team FOB we wish him a happy retirement. We will miss you Reg!!

No runners today but we have ‘sissinghurst’ running tomorrow at Worcester and we look to have a busy weekend at Chepstow.
Thanks for reading.
