A brilliant week at Team FOB.

Apologies for the delay in the blog but an extremely busy 2 weeks has taken over my time and I am back in action!!!!!

We enjoyed a rare day yesterday away from the yard and basking in the buzz of Royal Ascot!!! The course was a credit to the whole team involved and the sunshine always helps.

We were guests of Malcom Denmarks and we all enjoyed cheering his horse ‘Lip Service’ home from the screen in his box. Richard Patrick gave him a lovely patient ride and got him into contention turning for home and he found wings to sprint away after the last. I think our cheers could have been heard at Stratford!!!!!

‘Lip Service’ in the winners enclosure with Molly and jockey Richard Patrick.

We enjoyed a fantastic double on the card winning the 2nd division of the mares novice hurdle. ‘Grageelagh Girl’ made it look easy carrying a penalty and won going away under Paddy.

‘Grageelagh Girl’ stretching towards the finishing line unchallenged yesterday.

Fergal and I enjoying Royal Ascot.

We have some exciting news that ‘Connor Brace’ who won the National Novice rider championships this year for the Point To Pointing season will be joining us as our yard Conditional Jockey in the Autumn. He is a star for the future and we are looking forward to him starting with us. He was in for a few days this week to meet the team and ride out.

Here he is with owners Rob and Chris Parker, ‘Aristocracy’ and Connor.

Another owner to join us today was Keith who owns ‘Phoebus Lescribaa’ ridden by Katie.

We have had a brilliant start to the season and lots of runner this week to look forward to.

Tomorrow we run ‘No Dice’ and ‘Red Hot Chilly’ at Ffos Las. They both ran solid races last time out and we hope to see improvement in them both tomorrow.

Friday we have ‘Sissinghurst’ and ‘Quantum of Solace’ running at Market Rasen.

The weekend looks action packed with Perth on Saturday and Hexham and Worcester on Sunday.

I will keep you posted on the weekends runners closer to the time.

Thanks for reading.
