Tuesday October 23rd

A super winner yesterday at Plumpton for Oscar Singh and Priya Purewal.

‘River Of Intrigue’ took advantage of the small field which he thrives in and tracked the leader the whole way and took up the running up the home straight. A great jump at the last sealed the deal and he went on to win by a length.

Tori leading in a very happy Paddy and ‘River of Intrigue’

Today we hope the same may apply. ‘Aristocracy’ runs in the 2nd race at Exeter. It is also quick ground and a small field and we will use the same tactics. Connor rides and takes off a valuable 10lb so the weight could come into play today.

We enjoyed a day Drag hunting on Sunday with the Berks and Bucks Drag Hunt. The horses loved it and jumped everything we asked of them.

From Left to Right….. I rode ‘Socksy’, Tori on ‘Paul’s Hill’, Ally rode ‘Bells N Banjos’ and Abbie on ‘Perfect Candidate’

Yesterday we did a bit of schooling at home.

Mick came to watch Connor school ‘Champagne Well’ who jumped beautifully.

Alain schooled ‘Lungarno Palace’ who has entries at Cheltenham and Aintree this weekend.

It’s Alain’s Birthday today so ‘Happy Birthday Alain’ from all of us at Team FOB. We hope he can get a good winner this weekend!!!!

Today we took 4 horses to Lambourn to work and school. They all went really well.

Alain schooled ‘Mercy Mercy Me’ who shows superb natural talent.

Paddy schooled ‘Cap Soleil’ who looks big and strong and ready for the season.

This is a real action shot of Ally on ‘Golden Taipan’ and Connor on ‘Ballyhome’ up the back of the hill gallop which they all worked over a mile after schooling.

Tomorrow we have one runner at Worcester. ‘Oscar Rose’ runs in a mares novice hurdle at 5:20. Paddy rides.

Thanks for reading.
