Tuesday March 27th

I forgot to mention that we would like to thank Newbury Races for presenting us with the prize for ‘Moment of The Year’ when ‘Poetic Rhythm’ won the Challow hurdle to give us our first ever Grade 1 victory.

Gorgeous George wins

Simon with our winning cake!!! Simon deserves massive credit for pulling everyone together on Twitter to vote for us!!!

… and winning Owner, Chris with a lovely picture given to us by Newbury.

We had a good day yesterday with two seconds across two meetings.

‘Tashunka’ made a solid start to her racing career for FOB3 by storming up the home straight to be a clear 2nd behind a winning mare. She was settled at the back as she can be keen at home and showed good speed and a great attitude to cruise past the field.

The beautiful ‘Tashunka’ in the paddock before the race.

And a delighted FOB3 in the winners enclosure after a thrilling finish.

Over at Huntingdon, Lilly gave ‘Indian Reel’ a very confident, patient ride to also finish a clear 2nd. Carol, Pete, Lisa and Kiera who are all members of ‘Carry on Regardless’ were delighted with the run.

‘Benechenko’ got a cut in the race and didn’t show his best yesterday. He is very happy with himself today so will look forward to another run very soon!!!

Tomorrow we have another FOB horse running. ‘Ocean Cove’ of the first FOB Racing Partnership runs in the first at Warwick. Paddy rides him in a Maiden hurdle.

Thanks for reading.
