Tuesday April 17th

All the Aintree horses have come back fine and some have gone out on their holidays now.

‘Aye Aye Charlie’ really did everyone proud staying on to be 4th in the Grade 1 Novice Hurdle. He travelled and jumped well and stayed on brilliantly from the last hurdle. He is very exciting for next season!!!

Nev with the 2 exciting Novices for next season…. ‘Aye Aye Charlie’ on the Left and ‘Coolanly’ on the right.

‘Indian Reel’ ran another solid race on Sunday at Plumpton. Lilly gave him a really patient ride and just couldn’t go with the first 2 turning for home so she didn’t panic and kept hold of his head and kept enough in the tank to finish 3rd.

And in the winners enclosure afterwards with owner Lisa and daughter Kiera

We congratulate the whole team on a great win by ‘Risky Gold’ at Andoversford Point To Point. We purchased him at the sales before Christmas and he won first time out with Ally on board.

The ponies had their 2nd runs on Sunday also at Andoversford. Both girls improved on their first attempts and did really well.

Kaitlin finished mid division in a big field and she rode we pony all the way to he line and he was running on for her.

Fern overcame her ponies naughty behaviour in the race to win really well. That is her first win and hopefully the first of many!!!!!

Fergal with daughters Fern and Daisy and pony ‘Flick’ led up by Katie.

Yesterday we schooled a few ready for the week ahead and especially Cheltenham which will be a very exciting meeting as we have 9 planned runners.

‘Winter Lion’ with Paddy on board who head to Cheltenham tomorrow in a Novice Handicap Chase.

Paddy Berkins giving ‘Ratify’ a spin. He is entered at Wincanton on Sunday.

So tomorrow we have ‘Poetic Rhythm’, ‘Cuddles Mcgraw’, ‘Winter Lion’, ‘Lovely Job’ and ‘Alvarado’ all declared for Cheltenham.

Today we run ‘Benechenko’ in the Novice Hurdle at Exeter at 2:00. Brodie rides him. He has been in good form all season but ran a bit below par in his last run. He will love the challenge as always.

Thanks for reading.
