Oscar Rose gained a very well deserved win yesterday in the Mares Novice hurdle at Worcester. She gained vital experience last season but was unlucky not to win. Paddy gave her a very confident ride from the front and utilised her experience to sprint away from the field and score by 15 lengths!!! She jumped superbly and it was a lovely day for owners Tony & Karen Exall and Martin Rice who have all been very patient over the last 2 seasons.

Abbie with owner Karen congratulating her special mare ‘Oscar Rose’ after a stylish win.

Today we have one runner at Southwell. ‘Liosduin Bhearna’ makes his debut for us in the Bumper at 5:10. He is Owners by FOB4 and all members are very excited about today. He was placed in two Irish Point to Points and we hope he can run a solid race today. Paddy rides.

One of my favourite pictures of ‘Liosduin Bhearna’ when he was out on his summer holidays.

Tomorrow is an exciting day as we have 3 runners at the first Cheltenham meeting of the 2018/19 season. ‘Grageelagh Girl’, ‘Lungarno Palace’ and ‘Bells N Banjos’ are the 3 runners.

Fern and Kaitlin had a good time yesterday with the Berks and Bucks Drag Hunt. It was their children’s meet just outside of Lambourn. Fern took her pony and Kaitlin took ‘River of Intrigue’ who is very happy after his Plumpton win on Monday. It’s lovely to get the horses out for a change of scenery and they all really enjoyed it.
