Thursday November 8th

A solid week of runners this week so far. No winner yet but plenty of chances left!!

Yesterday ‘Socksy’ made a pleasing seasonal debut. We gave her a run over hurdles to sharpen her up and turning for home she was cruising but had a few slow jumps that cost her at the end.

‘Champagne Well’ ran in what looked like a decent bumper on paper so we were very happy with that. He travelled really well and then tired slightly in the ground but still finished a close 5th.

An enjoyable day for ‘The Bolly Champagne Crew’

Today we have 2 runners at Newbury and 3 runners at Market Rasen.

‘Carrolls Milan’ is our first runner at Market Rasen in a Mares Maiden hurdle at 1:30. She was a good 2nd behind a good mare at Perth so we hope she can run another solid race today. Alain rides.

‘River of Intrigue’ then runs in a Novice Handicap Chase at 2:35. He won well last time out and we are hoping he can build on that as today is much tougher now he has gone up the handicap. Connor rides.

The ‘Gorgeous ‘River Of Intrigue’ winning at Plumpton last time out.

Our last runner at Market Rasen is ‘Shows Over’. He was 2nd to a horse that has gone on to win 2 more races so we hope he can go close today. Connor also rides him.

At Newbury ‘Ocean Cove’ makes his seasonal debut in a very hot Pertemps qualifier at 2:55. It is his first shot in a handicap after winning a novice handicap hurdle at the Ayr Scottish National meeting at the end of last season. He is in good form and we are hoping for another solid run from him for The FOB Racing Partnership. Paddy rides.

‘Ocean Cove’ after winning at Ayr

Our last runner of the day is ‘Imperial Alcazar’ for Imperial Racing Partnership 2016. He is a gorgeous big gelding by ‘Vinnie Roe’ who is every bit a racehorse. We are really excited to see him run. Paddy rides him in the Bumper at 4:00.

2 runners tomorrow at Warwick. ‘De Name Evades Me’ and ‘Agent Valdez’ both run.

Thanks for reading.
