Thursday March 14th

Day 3. We have to wait all afternoon to see our runner ‘Perfect Candidate’ in the Kim Muir Handicap chase at 5:30. Brodie rides him and she had a pop on him this week ready for the occasion. We wish him all the luck on his favourite track for owners Donna and Geoff Keeys.

The super ‘Perfect Candidate’

We had 2 solid runs in the Ballymore Novice hurdle yesterday. Both of our runners jumped and stayed on well but couldn’t get involved in a place. They are both fantastic staying chasers for the future and they are both fine this morning.

Sean Bowen with connections of ‘Ask Dillon’

And on board in the paddock before the race.

And the gorgeous ‘Jarveys Plate’ and Paddy in the paddock before the race.

We enjoyed Tuesday with the lovely ‘Cap Soleil’ who had a great comeback run on the biggest stage and she stayed on well up the hill to come an ultra solid 7th if 14.

The Rowland’s and the Marzouks came to see their horses this morning.

Here they are with ‘Crossgalesfamegame’ and they also own ‘Hurricane Harvey’ who you can see in the background if you look very hard!!!

Tomorrow we conclude the Festival with 2 runners at the home of National hunt racing.

‘Aye Aye Charlie’ runs in the Albert Bartlett Novice hurdle and ‘Coolanly’ runs in the Martin Pipe conditional Jockeys handicap hurdle.

Thanks for reading.
