Sunday November 12th

The week carried on in a great fashion as ‘Cap Soleil’ won on Hurdle debut in impressive style at Newbury on Thursday. She jumped and travelled like a complete professional and quickened after the last to score comfortably.

Paddy was delighted with her and he is very excited for her season ahead.

While Paddy Brennan was winning in Newbury, Paddy Berkins was getting ready for his first ride under rules at Ludlow. He rode in a amateur riders handicap hurdle on ‘Chilli Romance’. He made most of the running and just couldn’t quicken from the 2nd last hurdle but finished a solid 5th not beaten far. A good start for Paddy.

We wish Irene a happy Birthday for yesterday. She is pictured here with ‘Sissinghurst’ who she worked yesterday. He is in great form after his 2 wins for us!!

A Good day yesterday. All 3 horses finished in the winners enclosure at Aintree and Wincanton.

‘Master Dee’ kept his record of all career finishes in the first 3 when he and a brilliant 2nd in the 2m4 handicap chase. Johnny Burke kicked for home 3 out and he looked like he was going to be hard to rein back but one got the better of him from the last fence. He ran a huge race!!

The ultra consistent ‘Master Dee’ with Ally in the week schooling in preparation for yesterday.

Tori with ‘Imperial Eloquence’ who ran well yesterday to be a good 2nd in the novice hurdle at Aintree. The up in trip helped him and Connor gave him a great ride.

‘Wizards Sliabh’ ran a blinder at Wincanton yesterday. The ground went very testing and she battled hard up the home straight in a very good mares handicap hurdle to come 4th when she looked to be beaten!!

Today we have 1 runner at Sandown. It rained too much for ‘Creevytennant’ to run so he goes to Ludlow on Thursday instead.

We run ‘Mercy Mercy Me’ in the bumper at 4:00. He is a lovely 4 year old by ‘Shirocco’ owned by Malcolm Denmark. He goes well at home be we hope for a solid performance.
No runners tomorrow.

Thanks for reading.
