End Of Season 2017/18

We are blown away by our final jaunt to Perth to end our 2017/18 season and we went there needing 1 winner to match our tally from last season and we did it with our final runner!!!!

‘Jarveys Plate’ who we purchased privately from the Irish Point To Point field just after Xmas has been showing plenty at home and he won the Bumper in fine style under a great ride from Paddy.

The gorgeous son of ‘Getaway’ settle at the back and cruised through to take up the running in the home straight and won hands and heels in the end with everything under serious pressure behind him. He is very exciting for the future and very fitting that we finished the season with a win for ‘The Yes no Wait Sorries’.

A very happy trainer celebrating our 60th winner of the season!!!

The gorgeous ‘Jarveys Plate’ before the race.

The Yes No Wait Sorries in the winners spot after a fantastic win with our last runner of the season.

‘Jenny’s Surprise’ finished the season with an amazing 2nd in the Mares Listed Chase. She found the track a bit sharp but Paddy didn’t give up on her and she got to the front turning for home and it was only the favourite that got past her coming to the line. She has done Foxtrot Racing proud and had a superb season for them.

‘Petite Power’ tried his best as always but couldn’t get into the race this time but is home safe and sound.

We are extremely happy with this season. The weather has tested everyone to the limit and we have to thank our amazing team of staff for sticking with it and working so hard throughout. Without the dedication of everyone we can not run a successful yard so it’s a real team effort.

We also want to thank all of our lovely owners who have supported us year after year and continue to trust us to buy new horses and grow the business. We look forward to the new season and the new challenge!!!!
