Saturday November 4th

A wet but fun morning on the gallops this morning. It didn’t stop the owners and cakes flowing!!!

We have a busy day of racing today. Fergal has gone to Wetherby with our fantastic mare ‘Colin’s Sister’. She runs in a big 3 mile hurdle at 2:40. It’s a very competitive race but she has been crying out for a longer trip so it will be very interesting to see how she goes in this quality field. Paddy rides both horses there today. We also wish Paddy the best of luck on the nations favourite ‘Cue Card’ in the Charlie Hall chase at 3:15.

Our other runner is ‘Diamond Fort’. He won on his final start last season at Chepstow and he has strengthened up a lot for a summer holiday so we are excited to see him run. He runs in a handicap hurdle at 3:45.
I am on route to Ascot with ‘Saturdaynightfever’ in the bumper for owner Malcolm Denmark. He ran a solid 4th at Chepstow last month and we hope for another solid finish. The race is at 4:05. Connor rides him.
Some pictures from a good work morning this morning-

Tori this side on ‘Chase The Spud’ and David far side on ‘Barney Dwan’. This was a serious piece of work!!!

Tori this side on ‘Ocean Cove’ and Connor far side on ‘Infinate Sun’

Kev on ‘Cheltenam De Vaige’ who has really settled since his run at Plumpton where he was a close 2nd.

Tori this side on ‘Poetic Rhythm’ and Connor far side on ‘A Book Of Intrigue’ who is a 4 year old by Alflora. They went very well today.

Katie far side on ‘Belle Amis’ and Paddy this side on ‘Benechenko’ who has an entry for next week at Exeter but we need the ground to be soft if he is going to run.

Tori and ‘Chase The Spud’ who is really flying on the gallops.

Tomorrow we have 2 runners at Huntingdon.

‘Iniesta’ and ‘Spy In The Sky’ both run.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks for reading.
