Saturday December 23rd

A fab ending to the week.

Great results on Thursday with ‘Paul’s Hill’ powering up the Towcester hill to win well from an unlikely position. Paddy never gave up on him and when the front horses started to get weary he kept on gamely and flew past them.

‘Jennifer Juniper’ ran a solid race and finished a good 5th in a good mares bumper.

Over at Exeter ‘Ocean Cove’ ran another great race to go down by only a length and a half in his first hurdle run. Richard Patrick gave him a lovely ride and he stayed on well at the end to close in the winner all the way to the line. He is owned by The FOB Racing Partnership 1.

‘Ocean Cove’ led up by Tori and Kaitlin.

In the 2nd spot with some of the Partnership members. From left to right-John, Tori, Roy and Paul.

Friday was a big day for ‘Strong Glance’ as he powered home in the Ascot Listed Bumper to be a very close 5th. He won his fist race at Southwell very comfortably and has a big future.

‘Herecomestheboom’ gave paddy a great feel but yesterday just wasn’t his day.

‘Herecomestheboom’ leads ‘Strong Glance’ in the Ascot paddock.

Today we see the super Mare ‘Cap Soleil’ runs at Haydock in a mares listed hurdle. The ground is back to her liking so we hope she can get back under the winners spot. She runs at 1pm.

The amazing ‘Cap Soleil’ schooling with Paddy.

This morning we had a full on morning on the gallops with breakfast and mulled wine. We had record numbers and great morning was enjoyed by all (I hope!!??)

The only shame was that a heavy fog was lingering all morning which made viewing quite last minute as they galloped past!!!

‘Mystifiable’ (Misty) trotting off into the mist.

A full yard of happy owners.

The string going down for 2nd lot.

There isn’t any racing now until Boxing Day so I wish everyone a very happy Christmas.

We have quite a few runners so I will keep you posted about them.

Thanks for reading.
