Saturday April 21st

Another brilliant result yesterday for The FOB Racing Partnerships. ‘Ocean Cove’ got his well deserved win at Ayr in a competitive Novice Handicap Hurdle. Barry gave him a super ride and kept him handy and stayed on very strongly on his first go at 3 miles which looks the making of him.

‘Ocean Cove’ is set for a big chasing career next season. He is looked after by Molly who make the trip up to Ayr with Tori and ‘Barney Dwan’.

All of the horses ran well at Southwell and it was all of their debuts for us and we learnt a lot about them all which is great going forward for the summer season.

Today we have ‘Barney Dwan’ in the 2nd race at Ayr. Noel Fehily rides him in a Novice Handicap Chase. He has been a wonderful horse for us and he tries so hard in all of his races. He was a brilliant 4th at the Cheltenham Festival and he deserves another big result.

Some members of FOB4 came today to see their new horse ‘Liosduin Bhearna’. Richard Patrick was in this morning and had a sit on him. He looks a lovely horse and we are excited about next season with him.

Owner John Smith of FOB3 has enjoyed a few Saturday mornings riding out with us. He was a jockey in his younger days and definitely hasn’t lost his touch!!! He rode ‘Petite Power’ this morning.

4 runners tomorrow.

‘Infinite Sun’, ‘Out Of Style’ and ‘Rockery Garden’ all run at Market Rasen ridden by Paddy and ‘Phoebus Lescribaa’ runs at Stratford ridden by Alain.
