New Years Day

Happy New Year and I wish everyone the very best for 2019. We are very excited about the New Year ahead as 2019 is going to be a big year for Team FOB.

We hope to start it off well at Cheltenham in the first race where our lovely up and coming Novice ‘Jarveys Plate’ steps up to 2m4 in the Listed novice hurdle. He has ran 2 good races over 2 miles and now he gets to show off his stamina. We wish the Yes No Wait Sorries the very best of luck today.

The super professional ‘Jarveys Plate’.

We then have 2 old servants running in the 3m2 handicap chase at 1:50. ‘Perfect Candidate’ and ‘Alvarado’ both run and although they haven’t been in top form lately they could easily bounce back today as they both love the track and they are both so happy at home in their work.

2 best mates ‘Alvarado’ and ‘Perfect Candidate’

‘Pride Of Lecale’ is our only runner at Exeter today at 1:50. He is a staying chaser in the making and we are looking forward to his future. We are hoping for a solid run today to get him on track for the future. Jamie Moore rides.

Our last runner of the day is ‘De Name Evades Me’ at Cheltenham in the 3 mile handicap hurdle at 2:35. He has had a super season and he will love the ground. We hope for a big run for him. Paddy rides him.

We enjoyed a good run at Uttoxeter yesterday coming 2nd in the Maiden hurdle with ‘Good And Hardy’. He travelled brilliantly up at the front of the race and when the winner came to him they set sail and left the rest of the field by a long way. He was a really good 2nd and we were very happy with that.

Owner Pete Smith with ‘ Good And Hardy’ led up by Tori.

No runners tomorrow or Thursday but a busy day Friday!!!!

Thanks for reading.
