Monday October 30th

Another brilliant day. You could say we were unlucky loosing the bumper yesterday in the stewards room but it just confirms that we have a nice mare on our hands in ‘Grageelagh Girl’. She travelled through the race like a good horse and some very slight interference just before the line caused the turnover in the result but it takes nothing away from her outstanding performance.
‘Aye Aye Charlie’ ran a lovely race over hurdles for he first time. He travelled and jumped well and stayed on strongly at the end to be a solid 3rd.

Connor and Fergal in the paddock with the connections of ‘Aye Aye Charlie’, All four one.

‘Lovely Job’ was unlucky as they took all the fences out up the home straight due to the sun causing a big shadow on the fences. He is such a good jumper that we really needed the fences to stay in. He still battled on to be 2nd so we were very happy.

The gorgeous ‘Lovely Job’ in the paddock.

A lovely morning at the yard……

Today we have 2 runners at Ayr.

‘Global Stage’ runs in the Maiden hurdle at 1:30. He is in great form and we are hoping for a big run. We wish the Yes Know Wait Sorries the best of luck.

The stunning ‘Global Stage’.

Then we run ‘Socksy’ in the 2:40 which is a novice handicap chase. She as taken to fences really well and she will handle the ground and trip so a solid effort is what we are looking for. Paddy rides both.

‘Socksy’ when she won her first hurdle race at Towcester for us.

Two runners tomorrow at Chepstow. ‘Out Of Style’ and ‘Coolanly’ run.
Thanks for reading.
