Monday November 20th

We rounded the weekend off well yesterday with a winner!!!

‘Wells Gold’ who has taken some time to come into himself travelled really well through the race and only had to fend off one challenger from the last. He was given a good ride by Alain.

Alain and ‘Wells Gold’.

‘Lip Service’ ran a nice race on his debut for us at Cheltenham in a 2m4 conditional Jockeys handicap hurdle. He travelled through the race well and stayed on to take 4th at the line. Richard Patrick rode him.

No runners today but we had a good schooling morning. My pictures came out very blurred but this is Lilly on ‘Knockaderryflyer’.

I have a nice piece to share with you written by one of our owners Andrew Mutch-

A lad called viva steve who was a smooth operator had the red hot chillys for colin’s sister, she was the perfect candidate for his soldier of love. Steve was pleased to have his grand introduction by jennifer juniper who did a lovely job with lip service. They walked under the angel moon and spoke with imperial eloquence but mystifiably and completely out of style jenny gave him a surprise and told him about her bad case of the okotoks! Steve replied mercy mercy me I’m a wiser man now. After ratifying the situation steve said it’s time to move on, so out of style he gave gragelagh girl a strong glance as he crossed bennys bridge over the river of intrigue to have a pint in shines bar which was in sissinghurst. Whilst in the bar he had a cuddle from McGraw and called aye aye charlie your spoilt rotten! No said charlie but I do have poetic rhythm and I’m in the groove for a chilli romance.

It would be interesting to see how many people can identify all of the horses names that feature in this!!!!

One runner tomorrow. ‘Chilli Romance’ runs at Fakenham. Ally rides.

Thanks for reading.
