Monday March 26th

A good weekend all round.

We enjoyed a cold day at Newbury on Saturday.

‘Benny’s Bridge’ ran a blinder carrying a penalty in the Doncaster Sales bumper. He settled at the back and made a move turning into the straight to run on for a solid 3rd.

‘Oscar Rose’ ran a really nice race in the mares novice handicap hurdle. She finished 6th but was only beaten 5 lengths. It was such a shame it rained over night as the ground was better for the Friday fixture and she loves better ground. She has had a solid season.

Connections with Paddy in the paddock before the race.

And getting some well done fuss off Karen Exall after the race.

‘Bells N Banjos’ was running a big race when a blunder down the back straight stopped him in his tracks. He loves better ground so he has an exciting spring and summer ahead.

The gorgeous ‘Bells N Banjos’ before the race on Saturday.

‘Mystifiable’ finished the day with a solid 3rd after a break. He jumped really well.

Today we have 3 runners.

‘Indian Reel’ runs in the 4:10 at Huntingdon. Lilly rides. He has his first go at 3 miles today and we hope it’s a step in the right direction.

‘Benechenko’ runs in the 3:45. Paddy rides him on his handicap debut over just shy of 3 miles. Fingers crossed for a big run.

Our last runner of the day is ‘Tashunka’. She makes her English debut in the bumper at 5:20. Her form doesn’t read well in Irish Point to Points but she fell at the last in her middle run when running a big race in 3rd. She makes her debut for The FOB Racing Partnership 3. A very excited group of people!!!!

No runners tomorrow.

Thanks for reading.
