Friday October 26th

A busy morning at the yard with preparations on full steam ahead for the first Cheltenham meeting of the season.

We had ‘Imperial Racing’ and ‘Double Barrels Of Courage’ to see their respective horses and enjoy tea and cake obviously.

We enjoyed a lovely day at Southwell yesterday with ‘Liosduin Bhearna’ making a solid start to his racing career with us coming a close 2nd in the Bumper. He was a big green throughout the race but stayed on well. Paddy was very happy with him and said he needs a big galloping track.

It was a great first run for The FOB Racing Partnership 4.

And in the 2nd spot after a good run.

Today we have 3 runners at Cheltenham.

‘Grageelagh Girl’ is our first runner at 2:00. She runs in a novice hurdle over 2m5. She won her first 2 hurdle runs this season and unlucky to be 3rd last time out. We are excited to see how good she is today. Paddy rides.

‘Grageelagh Girl’ winning her first hurdle start easily at Newton Abbot.

Our 2nd runner is ‘Lungarno Palace’ in a 2m5 handicap hurdle at 3:10. Alain rides him as he is his usual pilot winning 2 hurdle races on him already!! He won his last start at Stratford and he had to be very tough to do so in a very tactical race.

Our last runner is ‘Bells N Banjos’ in the Amateur Chase at 4:55. Ally rides him and everything is crossed for a big run!!!!

Ally on ‘Bells N Banjos’ pinging a fence last week in preparation for today.

Tomorrow we have ‘Perfect Candidate’ , ‘De Name Evades Me’, ‘Strong Glance’, ‘Robyndzone’ and ‘Imperial Alcazar’ all running at Cheltenham.

Thanks for reading.
