Friday April 13

Unlucky for some but we hope it has the opposite effect on us today.

We have 3 exciting runners.

‘Coolanly’ is in the 2nd race which is a 2 mile Grade 1 Novice hurdle. He is enjoying a big season after his bumper win, running in big races to gain experience. He is a lovely horse for the future.

‘Mystifiable’ got into the Topham Chase off a low weight. He took to the fences in the Sefton just before Christmas and he did really well so deserves his place today.

‘Mercy Mercy Me’ is our last runner in the Bumper. He is a gorgeous horse by ‘Shirocco’ and he finished really strongly in the champion Bumper so we hope he can go close today.

The gorgeous ‘Merry Mercy Me’.

Paddy rides them all today.

The ground went too soft or ‘Poetic Rhythm’ so he waits until Wednesday at Cheltenham.

Yesterday ‘Barrakilla’ ran a blinder to be 4th in the Foxhunters Chase. Given a great positive ride from Zac Baker he made up a place from the elbow to get into the winners enclosure.

‘Luna June’ made an encouraging start to her racing career. She was very green but got the hang of the race down the back straight and ran on well towards the winning post to be a good 4th. Alain wasn’t hard on her and she will come on a lot for the whole experience.

Yeah very genuine ‘Luna June’

Tomorrow we have 3 at Aintree and 1 at Chepstow.

‘Aye Aye Charlie’ runs in a novice hurdle.

‘Chase The Spud’ and ‘Perfect Candidate’ both take on the big one!!!! The Grand National is a huge day in the racing Calendar and we have 2 chances which is very exciting. We just hope that they both come back safe and enjoy it.

‘Good and Hardy’ runs at Chepstow in the Bumper. We purchased him after an Irish Point To Point win and this is his first run for us.

Thanks for reading.
